New dealer appointment for Maschio range in south Lincolnshire and Norfolk
OPICO has appointed south Lincolnshire-based machinery dealer Doubleday to distribute the Maschio range of products across all its branches.
Doubleday, formerly known as John W Doubleday, Bourne Tractors and Evergreen Tractors, sells and services agricultural machinery to the arable sector, and is known for its strong after sales support and customer service. The company has its head office in Holbeach St Johns, near Spalding, and branches at Bourne in south Lincolnshire, and Kings Lynn, in Norfolk.
OPICO’s Maschio product manager David Day said: “Doubleday has been appointed because of its professional attitude for service. With its strong presence in the machinery market place, the company will be able to successfully build on the good reputation of the Maschio range and increase trade.”
Director for Doubleday, Ian Doubleday-Collishaw said: “We are very pleased to be working with OPICO and the Maschio range. OPICO is a good company with a long established name. Maschio products are strong, durable and reliable and the power harrows and drills will especially appeal to our customers.”
A wider range of Maschio machinery has been introduced to the UK since OPICO took over its distribution last November. Earlier this year, two power harrows – the ORSO and TORO – were launched, and more products were recently launched at the Cereals Event - the Puma rotary cultivator, Perfecta Disc Coulter for the Alitalia combination drills and a left hand offset Giraffa flail mower. Further product launches are expected later this year.
