Aiming to speed up cultivations
is the new front-mounted cultivator from OPICO, the ShattaPress (Front Pakker) which fits in well with single-pass seeding operations.
Designed to work straight onto
ploughed land the range uses the OPICO Shattaboard working the
ground in front of a choice of different types of press ring
to consolidate the seedbed.
The Shattaboard system connects
all the flat tines in the front of the machine for an even breakdown
of the soil and a hydraulic ram allows adjustment to their angle
of work and to lift them out of work if necessary, so that the
ring presses can be worked on their own if conditions allow.
The choice of presses are Cambridge
roller types, with breaker rings or larger 800mm or 900mm profiled
rings. The former is best on lighter land and the latter is
for tougher and more uneven terrain.
Another feature is a steering
system which stops the ShattaPress (Front Pakker) from crabbibg from side to
side when in work, allowing it to follow the direction of the
tractor
