The Elho Sideliner has a single or double rotating Orbital Arms with 750mm film dispensers.
The bale is rolled on the bed by three chain driven rollers with anti slip polymer bands to ensure consistent rotation even with difficult or misshapen bales. The ELHO Sideliner loads the bale from the front in the direction of travel of the baler simplifying loading and dramatically increasing output.

The bales are automatically clamped and centred during the loading. Furthermore, bale remains clean during collection, as the loading arms do not push the bale along the ground. During loading the tractor is used to counterbalance the weight of the bale giving a high lift capacity with a light machine |

The low centre of gravity of the wrapping table and support of the bale by three table rollers and two end support rollers keep the bale securely loaded even when wrapping on slopes. |

Hydraulic synchronization between the bale rotation and the wrapping arm guarantees the right overlap independent of the wrapping speed and ensures the perfect sealing of the bale. The overlap can be set at 50% or 66%. |

The double action Cut and Tie mechanism catches the film and then grips it firmly in a rubber clamp before cutting |

Therefore the film is always cut clean and gripped positively for the next bale. Low risk of damage during off loading. During off loading the optional bale mat protects the wrapped bale from damage. The bale mat can also be used together with the optional bale rotator |

An additional braked third roller on the pre-stretcher follows the surface of the film roll and prevent the roll from over-running keeping a constant stretch irrespective of the remaining amount of film left on the roll. |

All the wrapping functions for manual operated machines are controlled by handy cable controls. The standard electronic wrap monitor keeps track of the number of film layers, bale total per field and cumulative total. The monitor is battery powered and hence independent of the tractor. |
| The automatic controls of the fully automated 1620 sideliner work with one push of the AUTO START button and the bale wrapper controller does the rest. As soon as the bale touches the loading arm sensor the loading of the bale starts automatically. Each function can be used individually too. |
