Integrated Subsoiler Nitro-Jet
The Nitro-Jet Liquid Fertilizer Applicator has been developed to reduce Autumn workloads, allowing operators to apply liquid Nitrogen whilst Till-Seeding their Oilseed Rape. More precise application, reduced fertiliser wastage and large time savings are just some of the reasons to change to the Nitro-jet system. In cold wet Autumns, placing fertiliser along with the seed can mean the difference between good establishment or a failed crop as it gives the plant a key nutrient boost to help them overcome adverse conditions and establish strongly before winter.
Integrated design
The integrated Nitro-Jet is built around the HE-VA Subsoilers headstock to keep the weight of the tank to the front of the machine to maximise easy lifting of the liquid fertiliser applicator and HE-VA Subsoiler.
Impact resistant tank
The integrated Subsoiler model Nitro-Jet comes with a 600L impact resistant tank offering a high level of protection and durability.
 Hydraulic Pump
The liquid fertiliser applicator comes with a high capacity hydraulic drive 700L/min pump made from corrosion resistant Polypropylene.
Self Filling intake
The system incorporates a 700L/min self priming / self filling intake and filtration for fast filling of the tank from permanent or temporary liquid fertiliser storage.
Liquid Fertiliser Agitation
With the liquid fertiliser formulas usually containing mainly Nitrogen but with different nutrient elements added such as Potash, Phosphate, Magnesium and Boron. Constant agitation is required to prevent the separate elements from settling.
The Nitro-Jet machines have a high pressure return that recurculates some of the liquid back into the tank through two jets, these have two funnels mounted over them that magnify's the constant mixing action within the tank.
 Sprayer Flow Control System
The variable rate is controlled by a Raven SCS330 spray rate controller that automatically maintains a single programmed application rate regardless of speed changes. (Ground speed compensated automatic rate control). The controller can also be used to vary the application rate on the move from the tractor seat.

 Nozzle Manifold and Pipe work
The machine comes complete with enough piping, fittings and nozzle manifolds for five nozzles but larger manifolds and additional nozzles can be provided as optional extras.
Nozzle and Protected Shroud
The narrow band nozzles spray a band of liquid fertilizer on to the ground, these are adjustable so you can alter the area or width of each band to suite your drilling method. Each nozzle also comes with a protective shroud to prevent large objects impacting the nozzles or the nozzle touching the ground, and potentially causing a blockage.
 Front Sight Gauge
The pressure of the liquid fertiliser flow can be set and monitored by the operator using the pressure gauge that is mounted on the flow control unit on the front of the machine and can be easily seen from inside the cab of the tractor.
