Gearboxes on all Heart of the Line Rotary Cutters are field proven for reliability and are all manufactured by Bush Hog for longer life and dependability.

Heavy Duty Construction Features

Spring steel, free-swinging blades, and all welded 7-gauge steel main-frames for the toughest mowing conditions. Heavy duty gearboxes and driveshafts, along with steel cut gear assemblies add to the muscle needed to handle the shock loads of rugged cutting conditions. The completely enclosed rear design of these cutters provides better mulching. Heart of the Line rotary cutters take on brush up to 3-inches in diameter and deliver a clean cut.

Standard Features

Front guards, 1/2 x 4-inch heat treated uplift blades, replaceable skids, shock absorbers on pull models (307) and front deflectors on all models. Except for a choice of rear deflectors, there's not a lot of extras to order.

Selections

Slip clutch for lift models (standard on 307), choice of drivelines, heavy or regular duty tailwheels. Bush Hog Heart of the Line rotary cutters, products with high performance value, ease of handling and adjusting, and minimal maintenance. Assured of a product that delivers the same dependable cutting jobs, year after year.

Series 12

The original Bush Hog Rotary Cutter. Cutting width five feet. Available as a lift model with a 540 rpm 65 HP gearbox. Side bands are 1/4 x 6 inches. Round bladeholders are standard.

   

SERIES 306

Cutting width 6 feet. Available as a lift type only with a choice of Cat. 4 or 5 drivelines with or without a slip clutch. A heavy duty, 540 rpm, 90 HP gearbox is standard and a heavy duty tailwheel is available. Round blade holders are standard.

   

SERIES 307

Cutting width 7 feet. Dual solid tyres and slip clutch standard.The 307 is also available as a pull model with a shock absorber, jackstand and ratchet. Hydraulic height adjustment available.
